COMPANY INFORMATION
Ankle Deep is a professional mitigation/remediation company based in Oakland Park, Florida. We are a company built on honesty and integrity, and believe that the age of old-fashioned customer service and courtesy are the cornerstone of any successful company. We are looking for like-minded men and women to help support our rapidly growing business.
The following is a list of the services we provide our commercial, residential, and insurance industry clients:
- Structural Drying – We dry commercial and residential properties that have been affected by water. Our industry used to refer to this service as “Emergency Water Extraction,” but with the evolution of the science of drying, the term has since been retired. We offer this service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- Mold Remediation – We restore the indoor environment of commercial and residential properties that have been affected by mold. Through the controlled removal of affected materials, and the meticulous cleaning of the remaining contents and structure, our efforts return the indoor environment to normal with respect to mold and prepare the property for reconstruction
- Carpet/Tile/Upholstery Cleaning – Unlike most companies in our industry, Ankle Deep did not originate as a cleaning company. Our cleaning services are primarily performed as part of our completion process during our mitigation/remediation services. We do however have a long list of clients that use our cleaning services to maintain their personal residences, or their managed residential and commercial properties. Our emphasis is on the final product, not how quickly we can complete the cleaning.
OPPORTUNITIES
Ankle Deep offers (3) career paths for prospective employees:
- Apprentice Program – For those individuals that are new to our industry. This program is designed to familiarize you with the equipment, tools, and maintenance necessary to succeed at Ankle Deep. This program will take 90-120 days to complete and will prepare the employee for the Technician Program in order to further their career.
- Technician Program – For those individuals that have limited industry knowledge and experience. After a short review of our Apprentice Program, training will include industry-specific techniques, and an introduction to the Vortex Drying System and the principles of psychrometrics. Employees can expect company-sponsored training through the IICRC in Carpet Cleaning, Carpet Repair, and Smoke/Odor cleaning. This program will take 1-3 years to complete and will prepare the employee for invitation into our Supervisor Program.
- Supervisor Program – For those individuals with advanced industry knowledge that coincides with Ankle Deep’s business practices. After a short review of our Apprentice and Technician programs, training will include advanced industry-specific techniques, management training, and company-sponsored training at the Vortex Drying School in Tennessee.
